Fleet sites
Delivery vehicles, care services, service technicians: fast charging between two trips keeps your electric fleet in operation – plannable and without downtime.
Charging infrastructure · DC
When charging time becomes a competitive factor: DC fast-charging stations charge electric vehicles in minutes rather than hours – at fleet sites, in front of retail outlets or in public spaces.
Understanding the technology
With AC charging, the vehicle first converts the alternating current itself – and the built-in rectifier limits the power. DC fast chargers have the power electronics in the charging station: the direct current flows straight into the vehicle battery, typically at 50 to 400 kW.
| Charging power | Typical use | Range per 20 min* |
|---|---|---|
| 50 kW | Entry level, existing sites | approx. 80–120 km |
| 150 kW | Fleets, retail | approx. 150–250 km |
| up to 400 kW | Motorway services, charging parks | several hundred km |

Locations
DC fast chargers are worthwhile wherever vehicles stop only briefly – or need to be ready for use again quickly.
Delivery vehicles, care services, service technicians: fast charging between two trips keeps your electric fleet in operation – plannable and without downtime.
Charging while shopping retains customers and extends their dwell time. The charging station in the car park becomes a footfall driver for your location.
On motorways and trunk roads, every minute counts: high-power charging with high availability makes your location a firm fixture for long-distance travel.
With public fast-charging points, municipalities and utilities create charging options for everyone – including residents without their own parking space.
Planning & operation
Fast chargers require substantial connection capacity – depending on the scale, up to the range of a dedicated transformer connection to the medium-voltage grid. We check the capacity at the site, coordinate the connection with the grid operator and size the system economically.
Anyone selling charging electricity in Germany needs calibration-law-compliant metering and transparent billing for each charging session. We connect your charging stations to a backend – with access control, roaming, monitoring and analysis.
A charging station only earns money when it is running. On request, we take care of maintenance, fault management and remote monitoring – for consistently high availability of your charging infrastructure.
The grid connection at your preferred location isn't enough for fast charging? Then battery-buffered fast chargers (DC/DC) are the solution: an integrated storage buffers the charging power – entirely without costly grid expansion.
We assess the grid connection, cost-effectiveness and funding options – and support you from site analysis to ongoing operation.
